Before & After - A Very Special Chair

This makeover has a special story. 

This chair was handmade by our cousin Sarah's Grandfather for her Grandmother when she was expecting Sarah's Dad in 1950.

The chair had been handed down to Sarah and has been with her when she was expecting her first child Harry through to her third child Amber (and Jake in between). The chair was reupholstered once about 30 years ago but Sarah has given the chair her own special makeover when she was expecting Amber. So you see this is a very special chair!

We love this fabric that Sarah chose, which had been imported from Turkey! It looks like a brand new chair. It is very bright and cheerful just what Sarah needed for all those late night feeds.

House Tour - Young House Love

One of our favourite blogs to follow is Young House Love.
