Nursery Tour - Sweet Playroom

With the new baby due in March, Mia will be ready to move into a big girl bed after Christmas so I'm thinking of making the other half of her room a playroom...I found this gorgeous playroom at Project Gallery which won the Project Gallery for October. I love the colour scheme with the bright colours and geometric patterns in the cushions and using the same fabric to back the book shelves.

This is a great idea for a DIY play station and a great way to keep the room tidy so you don't have to keep picking them up!

Bower Power

Bower Power is one of our favourite blogs to follow and we have recently taken up a sponsor spot on the blog and Katie was nice enough to mention us in her latest blog post.

If you haven't heard of Bower Power, you may remember this post where we featured an amazing little boys room with a barn board feature wall. How cool was that? Well that was Katie Bower's doing for her little boy, Will.

Bower Power features DIY, renovations, projects, photography how-tos, and mummy-friendly posts.

What we love about Bower Power is the fact that Katie has a great eye for design, is fantastic at turning goodwill finds into enviable home decor through a bit of DIY and a great imagination.

New Christening Invitations

Boy's Room Inspiration

Since having my daughter 16 months ago, I have been in pink overload. It has been so easy to find inspiration for decorating a little girls room, everything is so cute & pretty. So I thought it would be harder to find the same level of inspiration for a boys room. That was until I came across these rooms...no pink in sight!
